Country Singers I have seen in February
Tanya Tucker is still around. Thats her daughter to her right. Tanya was 30 minutes late for the Manual Fashion Show. I heard the stage manager yell that TT wasn't even famous enough and didn't even know why they had to hold the show for her.
Lee Ann Womack. She's just a tiny thing, very nice and she had her 18 year old daughter with her, who's already signed to be a supermodel.
Lee Ann Womack's husband, Frank Liddell, played Jerry Lee Lewis in the recent movie "Walk the Line" (Who's soundtrack I am listening to RIGHT NOW!!

This Segment Dedicated to my friend Tim
Who loves Nicolette Sheridan, here seen running 30 mins late for Regis & Kelly.
There's nothing fake about Tim, but here's a fake Paris who fooled a few people during fashion week and got front row seats and comp'd into VIP parties a couple times.
The real Nicky Hilton was there though.
Finally, I don't know a bigger Martha fan than Tim (OK maybe his bf affectionately known as Tim2). I was excited to finally land a photo of Martha.

Blizzard 2006 NYC
I think they did a great job of shoveling the snow in the Lincoln Center area (11AM)
After waiting 30 mins into a potential 2 hr wait for Spamalot cancellation tickets, I gave up and went to TKTS for 1/2 price tickets to Sweeney Todd.
Central Park trees near Columbus Circle (1PM)
These guys work hard. Cars can barely get around and this guys on a bike delivering someone their dinner.
71st Street between Columbus and CPW (8PM).

Who's Over Compensating car is this?
Is it Puff Daddy, P Diddy's or Diddy? (He believes you can wear white after Labor Day)
Jenna Jamason, who believes you can wear barely nothing in 20F weather. (I know it may come as a shock, but I had no idea who this women was (I thought she was Pamela Anderson's little sister) - Dancing led to nude modeling, and by her 20th birthday Jenna had appeared in dozens of top men's mags, including Penthouse, Hustler, High Society and Cheri. Since 1994, she has appeared in over 90 movies. She remains one of the most popular pornstresses in the industry today. (She seemed to be really nice, and very accomodating to her legions of male fans screaming her name as she walked the Bryant Park "Red Carpet".)
Lindsey Lohan makes another appearence. She's on her way to the Child Magazine fashion show which features her little sister and brother (I purposely did not shoot them).
Strutting the runway was 50 Cent's son, Marquise, Lindsay Lohan's little sister, Aliana and and brother Dakota, and Russell & Kimora Simmons 2 girls.
I like what Jossip.com had to say about this show. Isn't Child magazine supposed to be about how to raise cherubic children to be perfectly preppy and refined? Why, oh why would you host a fashion show in which childhood almost stars strut their potential to become vapid drug and bulimia induced half-adults?
$.50 and bodyguard. This was the day after someone from his posse shot Busta Ryhmes body guard. (Nice people, good role model)
Naomi Campbell. Everytime I saw this Biatch this year, she was a stuck up Biatch. Unlike 6 monyhs ago when she was really great (& much hotter) to the fans.
AND THE WINNER of the gas guzzling RR is Kimora Simmons. Kimora is 29, a former supermodel, the wife of hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, and the self-styled First Lady of Hip-Hop. "I feel like Coretta Scott King," she told me, speeding in her Bentley to an event for her husband's Hip-Hop Summit Action Network last fall. Co-hosting the talk show Life & Style, Sony Television's homegirl version of The View. ("I hate it!" she told me. "I thought it would be fun! I'm not used to having a boss. I'm the boss. I don't need the money. I'm filthy fucking rich!") We start talking about how cold it is in New York. "I stay out of the fur conversation," says Kimora. "I wear fur and if somebody throws shit on me I'm gonna whup your ass! I wish somebody would throw shit on me." The Phat Life "The bitches" have been a constant theme in Russell and Kimora's 12-year relationship. "I am not the kind of girl that gets in trouble," Kimora said. "You will never find somebody who can say, 'Well, I don't like that bitch. I came home one day and she was giving my man (this is a PG rated blog).' I'm not that kind of girl. "I'm a girl's girl. I'm a woman's woman. I'm a cool girl. I'm not a bitch. There's a difference. And the girls that try to take him are bitches. And I know every one of them in my mind." "Oooooh," she says, running long fingers over her new Louis Vuitton bag. Kimora gets very intense when handling or discussing handbags or diamonds. Or shoes. "Look." She opens a heavy brown shoe box to show me the shiny brown stilettos she's also buying tonight. "I thought about buying them, but then I didn't, and they kept them for me," she says quickly, reverently stroking a shoe as a smiling French saleswoman looks on. Kimora is said to have the largest collection of Louis Vuitton in the world. We start talking about how cold it is in New York. "I stay out of the fur conversation," says Kimora. "I wear fur and if somebody throws shit on me I'm gonna whup your ass! I wish somebody would throw shit on me." The two men strolling behind us are often with Kimora: BJ Coleman, the publicist for Baby Phat, who's carrying Kimora's four-foot-long Louis Vuitton shopping bag, and Jack McCue, her lawyer and manager, who was carrying her daughter Ming Lee. "Ming Lee want Daddy to buy you a boat?" says McCue, seeing the child's gaze turning toward the yachts anchored along the pier. "She doesn't need Daddy to buy her a boat—Mommy can buy her one," Kimora says, frowning. (Vanity Fair excerpts 2004)
Personally I have heard lots of Diva biatch stories about Kimora, but the 10 times I have seen her in the last few years, I have to say she poses and she signs so I have no problem with her. KIMORA SIMMONS

HEATHERETTE Fashion Show
I love the Heatherette house of fashion. It reminds me of my youth running about in Philly, the Hamptons, AC, Cherry Hill and of course NYC. I never attained Kid Club status, but observed from the sidelines as I was believe it or not TOO Uptight to just get that WILD. Last year I caught the action from stage door, and this year I was there again. Next year I hope to somehow get a ticket to the show. It's a tough ticket to get, and it's a must you get there on time or you'll be left out in the cold like Paris Hilton and Janice Dickenson.
"Put your finger on a map of downtown New York City and you can feel the pulse of Heatherette. Richie Rich and Traver Rains have created a lifestyle brand that truly cultivates the popstar in everyone. Glitter, sequins, and dreams have driven Heatherette every step of the way, transforming them from the quintessential downtown buzz brand to a respected and revered player in the fashion industry. Heatherette will take you from the red carpet to the street, uptown downtown and every stop along the way. “THIS IS HEATHERETTE!”

Ann Slater has been on the scene for many years.

The Tab Energy Party
Lindsay and her bodyguards seemed to have a good time at the Tab Energy Party. She went in kinda draggin (see photo in earlier posting), but came out all smiles on her face. She either had a few tabs or a few cokes.

Fergie looking fierce.
Kimberly Stewart and her sister Rudy. Sooo much cuter than their father Rod. Kimberly is a strange bird to say the least, right before I took this picture she played tag with the paparazzi running up and down the street making them work for their photo. Finally when they asked to shoot her with her sister she came back to the front door.
After Pam's M.A.C. Party, she went to the Tab Energy party. First she drove around the block in her long black limo about 6 times until the crowd outside the club had cleared out by either going inside or leaving. Then She made her entrance...I got some great shots, and she posed with two "celeb stalkers" that I have become friendly with. Just to see how skilled they work posing with celebs is a manificent footwork and speed. Pam likes the new drink and leaves with one. At 12:30AM the night is still young.
Missy Elliot really enjoyed the party. Here she is being help to her car, and then her handlers lifeted her up and place the intoxicated rapper into her car.

Red Dress Collection
I never saw botox up close before, she really looks alien. What does Josh Dumal, who will always be Leo from All My Children to me, see in this plastic chick.
Cover me with kisses, babyCover me with love Roll me in designer sheetsI'll never get enough Emotions come, I don't know why Cover up love's alibi
Michelle Philips from the Mama's and the Poppa's and from my favorite show Knot's Landing. I told her I loved her on it, she posed and of course my camera malfunctioned. SOOO irritating.
But I got this other shot from a distance. She still looks fabulous!!

I Think Mathew Broderick has a crush on me
I know I have had a crush on him for a long time. I still have a poster of him from the movie "Torch Song Trilogy, and am always threatening myself to drag it to The Odd Couple to get him to sign it. Maybe he just recognizes me as his personal stalker or maybe he secretly regrets not marrying me instead of SJP.
I feel sorry for the people in my photos who thought they were getting an excellent photo of themselves with Matthew Broderick, but for some odd reason MB was distracted by my beauty. I not Obsessed, I not Obsessed. I'm not Obsessed!
Once, in the late 80's I sat next to him in at a club in Philly. I was too nervous to chat him up, but not too nervous to stare at him all night long. I went home a broken man but with my shyness and fear of rejection in tact. But not to worry I had a lively conversation with my Ferris Bueller poster which hung on my living room wall.
These photos were taken 3 months apart.
Angelina Jolie: Women on a Mission
An incestuous odd duck as far as I was concerned back when she was dating her brother and kissing him on the lips, in the next chapter taking a page from MJ's book of really odd behavior by carrying a vial of her husband Billy Bob Thorton's blood on a necklace, and finally a husband stealing hussie, poor Jennifer Aniston. Today Angelina Jolie has transformed herself into a lady of Audrey Hepburn's grace and style, with her humanitarian efforts and her appointment as Goodwill Ambassador for the UN Refugee Agency .
The 2 times I have seen her at events she couldn't be more gracious by posing for photos and signing countless of autographs. Really sweet while interacting with the fans too.

Fashion Week starts off with a bang...
Drew Barrymore. The paparazzi or shooters as they like to call themselves, say she never likes to pose for photos. She did tonight. (Mario Testino Exhibit 15th Street/11th Ave)
Lee Ann Womack I saw her at the Rabbit Hole opening. I also saw Joan Rivers, and Bill Macy. I guess his wife Felicity was home resting from all the award ceremonies. (47th Street/8th Ave)
Gwen Stefani, and Gavin Rosedale. They are great. She looks great. They were smiling much more broadly, but I took too much time because the girl in the green coat wouldn't get out of my picture. Sure it was their friend, but hey I'm a fan. Some guy from Wireimage wanted to buy the photo, but I declined. He needed to download the photo into his laptop but I was freaked in case my card got corrupted. He said I could email it to him, so I might do that.
(Event: Mario Testino Photo Exhibit, Meat Packing District, 11th/ 15th Street)
Gwen & Gavin at the Spring 2006 Fashion Show Bryant Park Sept 2005; I think he is wearing a similar outfit, except he added the scarf to it tonight.
Lindsey Lohan. Finally after trying to see her in person since 8/1/05, I am finally at the right place at the right time. YIPPEEE!! I am so lame, so many shooters and inkers would laugh when I told them I could never find her, as she is everywhere.
She didn't pose, she was in a hurray to try some new Tab Energy Drink, thats what the party was for. No alcohol there, she is only 19 ya know. (Tab Energy Drink Party 21st/10th Ave)
Missing and will be posted later is Missy Elliot being helped into her car. She was plastard. She didn't even have her trademark sunglasses on. I was the only one to get the shot as I followed her all the way to the car until the bodyguards had to lift her into the car, which gave me a moment to shoot. Plus shots of Fergie sans Josh Dumel. It was late, I had to go to sleep for work which was in 5 hours.

Monday Night, A Night For Legends
The crowd celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Public Theater Monday night smelled like showbiz aristocracy. Performing or sitting in the A-list audience at the City Center were Meryl Streep, Betty Buckley, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Tony Kushner, Elaine Stritch, Eartha Kitt, Mike Nichols, Ben Stiller and Sam Rockwell. Rosie Perez and Zach Braff sang a zesty duet from "A Chorus Line," and a stiletto-heeled Cynthia Nixon brought down the house with her comically steamy rendition of Stephen Sondheim's classic "Dance: Ten; Looks: Three." A pixieish Natalie Portman sang "Frank Mills" from "Hair," and Streep stole the show with "Sodomy."
Tony Winner: Adriane Lenox - DOUBT
Tony Award Winner for WICKED Elphaba & nomination for RENT (the movie too) Maureen- IDINA MENZELT (I listen to her and the soundtrack of Wicked at least once a day. Rent about once a week)
Taxi, Scrooged, it's CAROL KANE now in Wicked as Madam Morrible
Tony Award winner for CATS - Betty Buckley.
I thanked her for her years on Eight Is Enough, which I loved watching as a kid. She was in Carrie too as the gym teacher who was nice to Carrie.
I regret never seeing her in person.
I told Eartha I saw her do a show in Philly in 1992, "It was a memorable night." She said Where have you been for the past 10 years (I snapped the picture at that moment)
I really want to thank my friend David for introducing me to the Cabaret world and my FAVORITE cabaret belter of all time- LIZA MINNELLI (literally, he introduced me to her 12 years ago) Remember Philip, "Call Me We'll Do Lunch!"

Here's Oscar De La Renta and the Queen of Spain as I mentioned above.
Sweeney Todd's Patti Lupone and Stephen Sondheim
Monday night, while I was "stage dooring" it, I met the nicest girl originally from Australia. She is currently living and working in DC as a nurse, but comes up to NYC whenever there's a show she wants to see.
Last night (Monday) there was such a show, but we'll get to that another day (still).
Anyway she tells me that tonight (Tuesday) she will be seeing Rabbit Hole with Tyne Daly and Cynthia Nixon. I said maybe I will catch that show too. Sure enough I am waiting outside to see who comes out of the limos, and Shea walks up the street. I catch her arm, we chat we go in. Good show, great cast, tear jerker, I'm stunned. We wait by the stage door. We get photos, we shoot each other with the stars, we see Richard Kind the actor.
We cross the street to see Nathan Lane and I see Broderick for the millionth time, he shoots me a look like don't I know you from somewhere stalker (I will post that picture on the blog later).
Then she says hey you wanna go check out the Sweeney Todd signing. Sure why not, its only 11:30PM
We get there, its too late, they cut off the line. Everyone leaves. We stand by the stage door with 4 other person. 20 Minutes later Patti Lupone comes out with Stephen Sondheim .
Patti sees my new friends sweatshirt says Tasmanian (Austrailia). She's been there, and starts discussing things with my friend, Shea. Then brings Sondheim over and re-counts her vacation in Australia to all in attendance. It was surreal to have these two legends talking to us like we were friends. The guy from Broadway.com calls someone on the phone to tell them how nice Lupone and Sondheim were, and how they spoke to us for about 10 mins.
From Broadway.com - "Ever since his first work, writing the lyrics for "West Side Story" and "Gypsy," he has proven to the world that Sondheim is indeed the greatest Broadway composer/lyricist of the late 20th century, arguably of all-time."
