Britney Spears defied a court order by taking her children to Las Vegas on Thursday. Unfortunately for the former pop star, she failed to get written permission from Kevin Federline, who shares 50/50 joint custody, to take the kids out of state.
Once K-Fed got wind of Britney’s illegal Sin City visit, he demanded that she return to Los Angeles with their children.
Spears’ stay in Vegas was all-too-brief and totally disastrous. Britney’s bodyguard, Julie “JC” Camera, got into a fight with a paparazzo by the name of Kyle Henderson at the Wynn Hotel, Us Weekly is reporting. Camera allegedly shoved the photog in the chest and accidentally hit toddler Tater Tot in the process.
The paparazzo then alleges that Spears started yelling while Camera tackled his partner to the ground and began punching.
For someone that criticizes others for how they look, I do believe his criticism is misdirected
Recently I heard from someone on the production team that they are only shooting a half dozen episodes because there is not a lot of content for the show (now these photos prove it to me). My source went on to say that Perez is very insecure, anal and neurotic (sounds like a lot of control queens that I know), and that filming has been difficult because of all the reshoots. Basically it's a nightmare. She doesn't expect the series to go beyond the planned 6. So I guess Perez better stick to his day job, especially if he is going to pay off all those lawsuits.

Beyonce Trips, Falls Head-First Down Stairs During Orlando Concert Singer Requests Video Of Fall Not Be Posted On YouTube. They ignored her and posted away. Sony requested they be removed and they were. But you can see, or imagine what it looked like from looking at this very blurry slideshow.
Forbes Magazine - "There are so many tabloids and so many photographers that there's no money in just taking a celebrity photo."
Or just any celebrity baby photo. Photographers say there isn't much of a market for some stars' children, like squeaky clean Hugh Jackman and his son Oscar Maximillian. Though X-Men: The Last Stand has grossed $440 million, the film star is hardly a tabloid draw. Other humdrum A-listers who elicit paparazzi yawns: Courteney Cox and daughter Coco and Oscar winner Rachel Weisz and newborn Henry Chance.
And while royals like Prince William or Harry, the strapping sons of the late Princess Diana, are among the most coveted paparazzi scores thanks to their global recognition could fetch top dollar, they're the exception, not the rule. America has little appetite for others, like Sarah Ferguson's daughters Beatrice and Eugenie.
It's really the big fish that mean big bucks. First snaps of an A-lister and her newborn--Gwyneth Paltrow and daughter Apple, for example--can fetch upwards of $100,000. In 1996, the must-have picture was of Lourdes, Madonna's firstborn. Six years later photographers stumbled over each other trying to score the first of James Wilke, firstborn of Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker. But Parker and hubby Matthew Broderick decimated the value of the first picture by posing outside the hospital for scores of press. (That photo is so undervalued, it can't be found on the web, oh did I mention none of these photos are mine. If you own them I can source you, or remove it from this site)
And if you think celebrity children are being exploited by the paparazzi, consider the fact that many celebrities get in on the action, cutting their own deals for first photos. (Whether candid or posed, first photos always generate the most cash.) In 2000, OK magazine is believed to have paid Catherine Zeta Jones and husband Michael Douglas 600,000 pounds for the first pics of their baby, Dylan. Last year, People magazine reportedly paid Britney Spears $500,000 for the rights to her son Sean Preston's first photo shoot.
Earlier this year, Time Warner's People also outbid rivals Star and US Weekly for the first exclusive shots of Donald Trump's fifth child, Barron, his first with third wife, former model Melania Knauss, taken inside the couple's multimillion dollar Manhattan penthouse. The baby, who occupies an entire floor of the palatial pad, owns his own gilded stroller.
If recent rumors of a Nicole Kidman pregnancy prove true, the Oscar winner will carry the world's next most valuable money shot, according to industry watchers. That is, of course, unless her ex-husband's new bundle of joy has yet to make her debut. "Suri Cruise is the most sought after picture right now," says one Los Angeles based photo agency executive. "That is, if she even exists."

NEWS ALERT: Babs you way past you out of touch revisionist, you were pushed out for the up and coming, John Stossell and Elizabeth Vargas. She further put her foot in her mouth by suggesting that she doesn't have to compete for interviews anymore, that she has reached a point in her career where she chooses who she wants to make cry.
But it doesn't excuse Barbara Walter's view and criticism that Tammy Faye should have stayed home in bed to die, instead of courageously saying good-bye to her fans one last time. As for Ms. Walters, I don't like her View anymore.
RIP Tammy Faye Baker Messner
Update from HughE:
I am glad that I was not the only one who was disturbed by the insensitive remarks by Barbara Walters. The editor at http://www.watchingtheview.com/ agrees with me (who knew there was such a site?) **I found it interesting that Barbara said that she left 20/20 on top, but she seemed oblivious to the fact that she appears to have lost her spark in her role on The View. I think that her role could be improved if she gave opinions from the perspective of an older woman, rather than trying to be “hip” and attempting to talk about things that she does not know anything about (like the internet).
I thought it was great Victoria Recaña seemed knowledgeable and opinionated. I liked how she managed to get in what she had to say and stood up well to Barbara doubting some of her points (like about Tammy Faye).
Tan line J-Lo
Personally I don't think Ken Paves' hair looks that good to be skilled enough to do Jessica Simpsons, Eva Longoria and now J-Lo
It's NYC Premiere with the stars present, is this week. It's not at the Zigfield as far as I can tell, but could be at Chelsea West: Address333 West 23rd StreetNew York, NY 10011 7/26 - Film premiere; You should call and see if they give up the info!
Update: It’s playing in conjunction with the Latin Film Festival. There’s a special showing on July 28 for the general public at the Director’s Guild Theater 110 West 57th Street. It could very well be playing there on Thursday night for the VIPs. What you need to do is go through the schedule of the Latin Film Festival guide, which is online, and figure out if there is a show there that night or not. If not than there’s a good chance the movie will be there as few film makers want to take move that big film canister around too much. (these photos belong to another source, if they are yours I will take them off if you want or source you)
CNN broke into regular programming just after 8:50pm ET tonight to report the news of the death of Tammy Faye Messner. The former televangelist, singer and TV personality died Friday morning, but the family had asked family friend Larry King to hold the news until today. King told CNN's Rick Sanchez, "they wanted to delay it a full day so that the family could all gather together." In fact, Messner was cremated this morning and, as King explained it, her remains have been "buried in a remote part of Oklahoma."

Then I came across this shot taken from a different angle, at TMZ.com. Behind them is the photographer who probably took the first photo. I find it to be an interesting shot as it shows how the paparazzi work when they are getting the shots as to sell to glossy magazines. The photo below would most certainly be published on a blog, or at TMZ.com, but I would tend to think that People Mag would want its readers to see how invasive some paps can get.
I prefer shooting my subjects from a bit of a distance, so they can feel like they are living some kind of life that's not completely in a fishbowl, plus I always like to stay out of the celebrities right hook range of motion too!
HAIRSPRAY Can't Keep The Fur From Flying (title from Light and camera - thanks to John for sending it to me)
As I reported earlier this week, the Hairspray premiere was at the Ziegfeld Theater on Monday, 7pm
PR made this a wonderful mess for everyone.
The said you had to be on their list, others complained they never received confirmations, and then the rest of the crew with NYPD press passes, ready to work. (for years the photographers kept their own list separate from the PR people. It was first come, first serve, but now the new gig is in town they only want you to be on their list, and they will place you)
Some were taken inside, some were placed in the 'A List' area, and the rest were placed first n the red carpet.
Did anyone else notice a top level, all access 'A LIST' shooter shooting second row....hhhmmmm - was it Wireimage, those guys have all the secret contacts, don't they?.
And yet with all of this commotion, things ran quite smoothly. Their was plenty of space for us to shoot, and we barely went two rows deep.
All the talent posedwere all cooperative; Travolta/Preston, Amanda Bynes,Michelle Pfeiffer;
As the event came to what seemed the end, a large portion of shooters left. Unfortunately for them, more talent arrived until 7:30pm, which included Liza Minelli, Paula Abdul and Katie Holmes. Katie Holmes being the money shot for the night.
Later I read that she was the guest of Queen Latifah as they just finished a movie together, but you can betch bottom stars that had fellow Scientologist John Travola not been there, Katie would have not been there either.
Although most of the paparazzi stayed out front for the departures, a few fans ventured out back thinking most of the talent would leave that way. They had to settle for John Travolta, which is not really settling, but it turned out that 90% of the talent left through the front door, including Katie Holmes.(All Photos: AP Photo)
I'm not a big sports fan, but I am a fan of moments in history. These folks do a great job at covering this moment.
The best line I heard last night on the news was "We now are the Best Team at losing"
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/07/16/sports/baseball/16phillies.html?_r=1&oref=slogin
The biggest losers The Phils last night reached a dubious distinction as they became the first team in any sport to lose 10,000 games, dropping a 10-2 decision to the St. Louis Cardinals before a sellout crowd of 44,872 at steamy Citizens Bank Park. Inq DN Photos
Singer Lily Allen poses with school children in Parliament Square as they launch the ‘Make Space Youth Review’ on July 11, 2007 in London, England. The report, which has been presented to Prime Minister Gordon Brown, has been chaired by Oona King and demonstrates worrying trends on all aspects on teenagers lives from risky behaviour to youth on youth violence and antisocial behaviour. The review has spent 12 months touring the country and consulting over 16,000 teenagers of all ages to find out what life is truely like for young people today.

My friend Katie commented recently that I did feature her bang shots, and if I was just that organzied I could post that shot. I am now off to the Philadelphia Blog Convention so I can continue to give you the best blog ever. http://www.blogphiladelphia.net/
"He managed to draw further attention to himself by arriving late to the ceremony," said our source. Earlier in the day, when T.O. froze going into the hotel's unheated pool and complained it was too cold, onlookers taunted him with stadium-style chants.
Kinda reminds me of this popular Seinfeld episode:
George: Well I just got back from swimming in the pool. And the water was
cold...
Jerry: Oh... You mean... shrinkage.
George: Yes. Significant shrinkage!

Paris Hilton Tipping Off Paparazzi
Paris Hilton returned to her everyday routine in her Hawaiian home: shopping, walks and parties. Interesting enough, Paris was rejected at two hotels before she got settled in the third one, her very own Hilton Grand Wailea Resort, popcrunch website reports.
She first tried at the Four Seasons, but was turned down. One of the hotel guests said that after she was rejected, she turned to the Fairmont Kea Lani hotel, but she was also refused there. One of the Hilton hotels was her third choice, where, of course, they did not try to turn her down.
A hotel clerk confessed that the rich girl had good relations with the paparazzi:- The paparazzi told us that Paris contacted them herself- said the hotel receptionist.
-We love her. She always tips us off where she will be so that we could have best photos possible- sad a paparazzo that is following the heiress.
The dispute occurred on a Continental Airlines flight between a woman and a man, whom FBI ld the dispute was over the Clay's smelly foot resting on another passenger's armrest. The disturbance was a minor one. There was an allegation that the woman gave the male passenger a "minor shove" during the argument, Johnson said. *********The Claymates in the message posting section are defending their Clay for the incident and offering to be his next foot stool. Here are a few samples: 7/7/2007 7:13:59 PM, Carrie, MinneapolisThis has convinced me, I fly Continental from now on. Back and forth in case Clay Aiken needs a footrest. I'm there for you honey, anytime. PLEASE. ****11. 7/7/2007 7:20:25 PM, Ladria, TulsaPuhleeeeezee...must be a slow news day, huh? Why don't you leave the former American Idol contestant alone. You're looking very petty.***30. 7/7/2007 7:38:50 PM, Dan, Give him a break? Yeah, like that will EVER happen. I've never seen any other star get this much harassment from the bloggers, haters and trash media in my life. A woman goes apeshit on him while he's sleeping and the gossips try to make it look like he did something wrong. Unbelievable. 76. 7/7/2007 8:58:40 PM, nunya, What a laugh! All these silly midwestern women mooning over one of the most obvious homosexuals in recent history. If you cannot fit within the confines of your purchased seat, buy another (hint, the airlines will sell you a second "space" seat at a greatly reduced price). Putting one's feet on another person is disgusting. Then again, it is Clay Aiken.
77. 7/7/2007 9:05:50 PM, #1 Clay Fan, Donna,
You are hateful...Clay says to "just ignore people like you. But really, do you spend all your time looking for news about Clay Aiken just to bash him? You must lead a sad, lonely life with so much vile in your soul! Clay is the perfect Southern Gentleman. I'm sure he apologized to the tyrannt who was hitting him. She's lucky if he doesn't press charges!!!
78. 7/7/2007 9:09:17 PM, lynnie, Haters close your eyes this is not for you!! Clay is doing a concert tonite, and he just joked on stage about being beaten up on a plane by a girl.
And Nunya...not midwestern woman here, try silly Canadian woman. I mean if you are insulting me at least get the right area.LOL. And you know what, you can insult till you are blue in the face and I only feel sorry for you. What a waste hating is. And I for one am not mooning, I'm totally loving.
79. 7/7/2007 9:36:22 PM, bindy, nunya The only obvious thing I see about Clay is that he is one hot dude. There are no first class seats on a commuter flight. Yes, it was a puddle jumper. He does however, buy first class seats for his dog Raleigh. How can you not love a man who flies his doggie first class, lol?

By doing a Google search I found over 234 news articles on the incident, it even made Forbes.
I like his blog. http://www.johnmayer.com/blog I think I might breakdown and buy his CD, even though it doesn't seem like something I could dance to or would motivate me on my treadmill.
