Continuing My Liza Obsession This Week

My friend of 13 years, David Pershica used to do PR for Liza in the Mid-90s. I wasn't as obsessed about her then, as I would have surely pestered and visited a lot more often. Bio- Originally from the Philadelphia area, David Powell Pershica has been dancing for over 25 years. His professional work in the theater has taken him around the world, from New York, where he worked as a professional publicist on Broadway shows, to London, where he produced several cabaret and theater shows.Powell is a former publicist for Charo and has worked with Liza Minnelli, Hall and Oates, and Maroon 5.Last year, he opened Tapography Dance Studio. Powell teaches adults how to tap, salsa, and/or gives ballroom dance lessons. He specializes in same sex ballroom dance. There's a good chance Mike and I will know how to do the Mambo this time next year.
